Coming Soon!
Because I listened to these over and over as a child, and my own children love them now, I am pleased to announce that I will have the Stories That Live tapes and books available for download here soon. I have not been able to find a digitized version anywhere else and they are no longer available to purchase. Please check back in a few weeks and I'll have the files loaded.

I love this set. I have the complete set of books and tapes of the 1980 recording. As a child I knew every story by heart. I am working on converting the tapes to mp3 files so that my kids can listen to them on their Ipods. I also have the second series of books and tapes that continued the collection. I have talked to Peter Enns and he told me that he gets asked very often if the stories will be released on cd, sadly he said that they won't be and the tapes are no longer available. I am so glad that I still have my set to pass on to my kids and their cousins. The narration and sound effects truly make the stories of the Bible come to life!
ReplyDeleteI am so happy to find this blog. My kids loved these cassettes when they were little and I have saved a few. Am happy to find them for my youngest children to enjoy!
